Competions, to be predicated on international standards of Quadrathlon (such as ban of drafting, strictly no-doping policy a.s.o.), quality of location and organisation and experience will be decorated by an GQO - qualitylabel

Furthermore the German Quadrathlon Federation offers a lot information on international and german competions / Zudem bietet der deutsche Quadrathlonverband QUAD eine umfangreiche Bibliothek an Daten der deutschen und internationalen Wettkämpfe.

 

 

Information for Organisators:

Any organisator of Quadrathlons can apply for a world championschip or european championchip in the core distances:

- Sprint:
750 m swimming - 20 km biking - 5 km kayaking - 5 km running

- Olympic (Middle):
1500 m (2500) swimming - 40 (50) km biking - 8 (10) km kayaking - 10 km running

- Long:
5 km swimming - 100 km biking - 20 km kayaking - 21 km running

- Ultra:
10 km swimming - 180 km biking - 40 km kayaking - 42 km running

The distance can vary due to location requirements. For example a Middle distance could have 2200 m swimming, 43 km biking, 9 km kayaking and 11 km running. It is necessary, however, that the balance of the whole competion is protected.

Usually we are not charging any licence-fees to organisators, but the GQO accepts of course donations on a facultary basis. All money will be used transparently, which means, that any organisator - to be part of GQO and represented in the excecutive board - has a view on all usage an disposal and can sent vetos.

GQO invite presenters, clubs and organisators of Triathlon-races and Kayak-regattas to ask GQO on assistance for offering Quadrathons.
It is for instance possible, that Quadrathlons are integrated in an Triathlon - so that athletes will do an additional kayak-lap after swimming or biking, when the triatletes separate then. Please feel free to ask

The GQO is the World organization of Quadrathlonsports.

The Organisation rules and sumits Worldchampionchips around the Globe and sets valid rules on competions.

Members are all Countries, who have active athletes and supply competions.

 

All matters belong to the federation are democratic and transparent. That means, that any member has the right to get information and all matters are committed to fair and sportive behavior amongst the community.
